Larger vehicles, including SUVs, vans, and pickup trucks, can have ANY level of darkness on their rear windshield and rear windows, while the front passenger and driver-side windows must allow for 24% of visible light transmission.
The rules of window tint reflectivity is a generally easier concept to understand here in Tacoma, Washington. No vehicle of any size can have a window tint film package installed that is any more than 35% reflective.
